OK I never have much luck photographing work, on angled drawing board, light issues, the work is very detailed which is not coming up even when I tried a macro shot, me wobbling, even tripod useless too as board too high!!, and the camera has pulled out all the red/chestnut tones hair work and not the rest of the hair work, strange. But it will look much better in real life Sande.

When I enlarge the image, I can see every fine detail. You are an impressive artist.
Linda, he is gorgeous!!!
I love seeing this work progress!
and your hare from Danielle is precious.
He is looking good so far .... but I sympathise re. photographing artwork. I'm sure I spend as long trying to tweak photos as I do producing the original work!
This is stunning! Beautiful drawing.

What a sweet expression!
Well done ~
Hi Linda,
This is such an amazing portrait. You've captured him perfectly and I can not imagine it looking any better! Sorry it's taken me so long to respond here. I didn't realize that you'd posted the photos until today when I was finishing up the links to my gray horse blog, too. Already posted the links on my Danny blog:) Again, thank you does not seem to be enough to express how I feel about this incredibly beautiful portrait. You are an exceptional artist!
love, Sande
I received the art work today and there are not words to describe how incredible it is. Linda was right, it is even more beautiful in person. A camera can never capture all of the detail and nuance. I didn't know that Linda was sending me the original work. I expected a print and as I said on my own blog, I would have been thrilled with that but opening the package to discover the original.....I can not express the joy I felt! I'm getting it framed asap and I don't want to take it back out of the tube before then so that it will remain protected from damage. If I could, I would just keep staring at for hours and I know I will once it is framed and on the wall. I will send you photos of it then. Please, let me know if there is anything of mine that you particularly like and I will print them (as many as you want) on acid free paper and with archival ink and get them off to you immediately. I'm truly touched beyond words by your kindness, generosity and especially your incredible talent! You are the best, Linda!!
It looks beautiful to me, Linda. I know how hard it is sometimes photographing artwork. I am sure it is even more beautiful in person ;-)
Just marvelous.....
