After the chores were completed, I ventured out to feed the wild things, put out fresh water, refilled the bird feeders with seeds and peanuts, put down small wildbird mix for the ground feeding birds, and jumbo sized treats for the larger seagulls and crows. So many hungry beaks turned up, that I eventually put 4 huge bowls out for them.
Then Prince and I had a quick play in the garden , before back indoors to dry off, and a cup of tea.

Hi Linda
I've done the same thing this morning. I feel that I have a responsibility to the birds ( well all wildlife ), they bring me great pleasure and so I feed them twice a day..... I love watching the Robin in the snow it's such a typical winter scene...
Prince looks like he enjoyed the snow...
Happy New Year to you.
Keep safe and warm
Blessings
Julie
Hi Julie, Yes, I love feeding all animals, I can't relax in my warm cosy home, unless I feel they have all been fed, and tucked up safe.
I swept the snow away, and put down another batch this afternoon, for the birds, they were so hungry. We have our little resident robin too, he was puffed up and very round looking, and rather idignant that all these other birds were in his garden..Linda:)
Your puppy dog is so cute. we have a golden retriever, Emma!
Your snow photos are awesome, thanks for sharing!
Smiles, Cyndi
